Apprenticeship and Certification Board Update: Apprenticeship and Certification Board 2018-2023 Strategic Plan
June 07, 2018
The Apprenticeship and Certification Board has completed its 2018-2023 Strategic Plan following an extensive consultation period that took place over two months and in eight communities across Manitoba. Stakeholders were also able to submit their feedback to the Board online.
The Strategic Plan was informed by over 500 responses to the consultation, including apprentices, employers, industry associations, journeypersons, technical training providers, union - labour organizations, and others. It was a pleasure to hear from all those who contributed and to learn from the diverse perspectives of our industry.
Following an intensive review and analysis of the feedback that was received through the consultation, four key priorities were identified for 2018-2023: Inclusive and Engaged; Quality and Innovation; Access and Success; and Responsive and Accountable. These priorities in turn helped focus on their vision, mission, and goals.
The Board is pleased to provide a copy of the Apprenticeship and Certification Board 2018-2023 Strategic Plan which can be accessed by visiting <www.gov.mb.ca/wd/apprenticeship/boardpac/documents.html>.
